The wait is soon over!

The Long Night is here, everyone. Game of Thrones Season 7 bowed out with an epic final episode in which we learned of Jon’s true parentage and saw The Night King and its Ice Dragon break down The Wall and move on Westeros.

HBO has announced that the eighth and final season of Game of Thrones will premiere on April 14, 2019 (In USA). This means that soon enough, fans will finally find out the ultimate fate of Jon Snow, Daenerys Targaryen and the rest of the Westerosi.

The two-minute preview was all about building up to the final showdown between the living and the dead that’s supposed to blow the Battle of the Bastards out of the water.

All eyes were on an injured Arya Stark running away and in another key shot, an uninjured Arya with a a dragonglass dagger in hand. Another revelation? Tormund and Beric live! As a Norwegian im super happy to see Tormund Giantsbane or his real name Kristofer Hivju in the new trailer. His faith was not known when season 7 ended.

And most interesting of all, Deanerys and Jon visit Drogon and Rhaegal, fueling speculation that it might be time for Jon to ride the dragon named after his father.

Most of the Thrones scenes in the previous teaser were pulled from the show’s seventh season. But if you were paying close attention, you may have noticed that there was a shot of Jon Snow (Kit Harington) hugging Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner) that was brand new.
