SPOILER ALERT

FINALY SEASON 2 OF THE MANDALORIAN IS HERE

The wait is over

Finally the season 2 of tv series The Mandalorian premiere on Disney. The “baby Joda” and his protector is back in the quest to secure Jr Joda make it. We are now following them on the quest to find some of his own race and the Mandalorian is determined to make it. The first episode was better than I even could hope for.

We meet both our heroes as they continue the journey and when The Mandalorian seeks to find a source that might have info for them. He finds him in a cage fight arena. As often he has to show some force to get the info and learn of a location that might hold the rase of baby Joda.

CAN IT GET ANY BETTER?

They take the ship and land at Tatooine where they meet a familiar sight, Peli Motto from the first season. Tatooine was the plant where Luke Skywalker was from.

They find a small village where a monster called the sandworm-esque or dragon is found in the sand. Mando has to join forces with a man who has traded a Mandalorian suit.

While searching for dragon locations they are faced with four-legged creatures that to me look almost the same as the monster in the Matt Damon movie The Great Wall. Mando knows how to calm them down and this is where we meet the Tuskan Riders. Mando surprise once again by speaking their language that is mostly based on sign language.

They have been watching the dragon for centuries and been feeding it to make it sleep longer. They have a lot of information and knowledge they share with Mando.

EASY TO SEE THEY GOT BIGGER BUDGETS

HOW TO KILL A DRAGON

The pact is formed and the task at hand is to kill the dragon. They create a plan that involves using explosives in the ground that will blast this dragon. When the dragon comes out this time we see why they call it a dragon.

There is no fire but again a reference from another movie as the creature spits something that looks similar to the one in the movie series Pacific Rim. The explosion goes off but does not kill the dragon. Here we get a real treat for us Star Wars fans as we see the Mandalorian suit fire rockets while flying. Mando gets an idea to use the baith that is rigged with explosives. While doing so the dragon looks to be eating Mando but regrets that fast and spit him out.

Mando does what he does best and executes the plan and the dragon goes down for good. The Tuskan`s start to get as much meat as they can from the creature. We see Mando get a big chunk as he and baby Joda are about to leave. As the suit his new friend can`t be worn by others then Mandalorian`s he get it and say goodbye before they ride into the sunset. As it ends we see a character watching them from a ridge… Can’t wait for the second episode!!
